1991 FORD EXPLORER EDDIE BAUER EDITION 4WD click picture to enlarge Description This is a 1991 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer edition, 4WD. We bought it 4-5 months ago to use as a second car, but now we don't need it anymore. It is in really good shape for it's age. Since we bought it we've put in a new radiator, new clutch fan, new brakes and tires, new fuel pump, and we just changed the oil. The air filter was also just replaced. We also had a new window regulator put on a back window and a new dump valve for the brakes. The transmission was rebuilt three years ago. It shifts good and does not smoke or leak anything. The odometer reads 24000, but it has flipped over. There is just not a place for it to read 124,000. It has electric doors, electric windows, ABS brakes and driver's side air bag. It has a nice Pioneer CD stereo system. There is some oxidation of the paint, but that doesn't affect the way it drives at all. All the gauges work like they should, and it makes no unusual noises at all. When we took the gas tank out to change the fuel pump, the gas tank looked very clean. The headliner is not torn and does not sag at all. The seats are also in good shape. We bought it from someone in North Carolina, and it has a 2008 North Carolina inspection sticker on it. Georgia does not require inspections, so we have not had it inspected. However, I am sure it would pass any state's inspection requirements. We drove the car from North Carolina to Baltimore, MD, which is where we had all the work done on it, and then drove it back to Georgia. That was about an 1100 mile trip and we had no problems whatsoever. I would not hesitate to take this car anywhere on a trip. You won't get a better deal for the money, especially for a 4WD vehicle. You are welcome to come look at it and test drive it, and also have your mechanic check it out if you would like.
