Description
No Reserve. I think this is a 1963 but I'm not sure. Chevy C30. No Title. I was told that this might have been a forestry dept rig at one time. This rig is longer than most Suburbans. (19 feet from one end to the other). This was a 2 wheel drive, 1 ton. The person that I got it from had pulled the front suspension and mounted the front spring mounts for a 4X4. Also welded a reinforcement plate at the hump above the front axle.(nice job and pictured). Has no motor but has original granny 4 speed driveline and rear axle. The odometer reads 10,564. I am sure that has probably rolled over. For the most part this has almost no rust. Some rusting below the kickpanel on the drivers side (pictured). The passenger side upper corner of the windshield has a rust spot and also passenger side floorboard in right front corner I can see a small hole and a couple pencil size holes on the kickpanel. The body is pretty straight for it's age. Passenger side rear quarter panel has a football sized crease in the body line. Right front fender, by headlight is wavy. Drivers side front fender by headlight is a little wavy and a few dings here and there on the rest of the body. The doors look pretty good, hinges are still tight, no rust, handles are all there, both armrests were replaced with wrong armrest. The 2 back doors look okay, right door won't latch, hinges still tight and the front bumper is a little wavy. Windshield is not cracked but has deep wiper streaks on the passenger side. Passenger door is missing glass. The 2 small tinted windows directly behind passenger and driver side windows are cracked and the last side window on the drivers side has been replaced with plexiglass. The rest of the glass in the truck looks okay (back doors glass was painted). Interior is missing seats, speedometer assembly looks like somebody replaced the oil, water and alternator gauges ( might be ruined). Heater switches missing, they drilled a couple of holes in the dash between the ashtray and the hole for the heater switches for toggle switches. Looks like original steering column and box but the steering wheel is wrong. Wood floor and rails are still intact, no holes or rotting. ( interior has no apparent leaks, stays dry). Missing Keys, radiator, engine, headlight rings, one headlight bucket, one wiper blade, front suspension, rear bumper, heater control switches, heater fan motor and seats. Roof looks okay, has what looks like a factory metal vent/fan, no leaks. Vent looks good. This is a unique rig for 4X4 project or to restore ( I see a lot of running Chevy 3/4 ton 4X4's for around $500.00 that would be perfect for running gear for this truck). Truck is at an angle because I bolted a homemade straight axle to the front frame to ease loading and unloading. No steering.(When I got it it was a big pain to load with missing front suspension). I am located in south western Oregon. Would like to see vehicle picked up within 2 weeks after payment, unless other arangements are made. Bill of sale only. I tried really hard to list everything I could think of, study pictures hard, the pictures have wrong date but were taken today. Email me with any questions. Thanks
